Tailor machinist — Jones County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Jones County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
