Gas commissioning technician — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Washington County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
