Vacancy available: ductable AC technician (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. Day to day you will evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow. Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
