Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jackson County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter 1+ years on the tools preferred.
