Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Parmer County, Texas. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
