Now hiring: we are hiring a tiler in Steele County, Minnesota. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Your main tasks: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
