Shuttering and concrete hand — Newton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Newton County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Your main tasks: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
