Turning centre operator — Summit County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Summit County, Colorado. The job is in a tool room. On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Performance bonus on top of base pay.
