Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Hudspeth County, Texas. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
