Gas pipe fitter — Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Jackson County, Missouri. The role involves install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
