Fabricator-welder — Effingham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Effingham County, Georgia. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
