Gas appliance installer — Divide County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Divide County, North Dakota. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Your main tasks: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
