You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Performance bonus on top of base pay.
