Join our team: we are hiring a groundworker in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
