The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
