Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Douglas County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
