Now hiring: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Central Bedfordshire, England. The job is at a road-building project. The role involves backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
