Plant operator — Jay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Jay County, Indiana. The job is in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
