Packing line operative — Sumter County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packing line operative in Sumter County, Alabama. You will be based in a food packaging factory. Day to day you will feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams; count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue; separate rejects and re-pack faulty units; strap and band pallets ready for loading; inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals. Requirements: • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
