Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Worth County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
