Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Wayne County, Utah. Your main tasks: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Full-time, day shift.
