Furnace operator wanted in Morrison County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Morrison County, Minnesota. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
