Vacancy available: vacuum press operator (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Ozark County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
