Meat trimmer — Andrew County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Andrew County, Missouri. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
