Safety officer — Ika

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Ika, Akwa Ibom State. Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Rotating shifts.
