Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
