Immediate opening: industrial sewing operator (Rhode Island)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Bristol County, Rhode Island. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
