Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Barbour County, West Virginia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
