Join our team: argon welder (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Greene County, Tennessee. The job is on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
