Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in McDonough County, Illinois. The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
