Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Scott County, Kentucky. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
