Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (Colorado)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Custer County, Colorado. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
