Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Okeechobee County, Florida. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. The role involves plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Overtime paid at a premium rate.
