Prep cook — Wayne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a prep cook in Wayne County, Iowa. The job is at a roadside dhaba. Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred.
