Dry lining plasterer — Floyd County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Floyd County, Virginia. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Day-to-day duties: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
