On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
