Sewing machine operator wanted in Wright County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wright County, Iowa. You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
