Mining dozer operator wanted in Cowley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Cowley County, Kansas. You will work at a land-clearing site. You will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
