On the job you will handle: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
