Vacancy available: plant operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Nelson County, Virginia. The job is at a plant hire yard. On a typical shift you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Part-time with flexible hours. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
