Marble fixer — Meade County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fixer in Meade County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists 1+ years on the tools preferred.
