Immediate opening: vertical milling machine operator (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Seneca County, New York. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
