You should have: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel The role involves explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; clear and reset tables between covers.
