Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Rotating shifts. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
