Safety officer — Riyom

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Riyom, Plateau State. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer ₦200,000 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
