Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Cherokee County, Iowa. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
