Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Greene County, Indiana. The role involves prepare the mise en place before each service; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
