Window glazier — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a window glazier in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. Your main tasks: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
