Furnace operator — Kwami

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Kwami, Gombe State. On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
