Pipe TIG welder — Manitowoc County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
